Our History:
Luna Development’s humble beginnings date back to 1998 in a small lab within Microsoft Canada’s headquarters shared with Net Events Inc. Our primary client was Microsoft, and we were contracted by them to procure, configure, setup and support all hardware, software and networking needs for events across Canada, including Comdex/Windows World.
We evolved into Microsoft’s premier technical arm providing solutions to various groups within the organization. Software development became key and included projects such as Field Management Calendaring, Event Registration Software, as well as various one off websites and custom software projects.
With the launch of Microsoft’s .NET platform in 2000, Luna became the first provider of training material for Microsoft with its .NET Developer Days Hot Labs nationwide tour. After proving itself with such a large undertaking, Luna would go on to provide services for the launch of the xBox gaming console, Windows XP, and was personally selected to provide Bill Gates with technical support during his day long visit to Toronto.
Today Luna focuses on providing its years of experience to small and mid-sized organizations but still consults for major industry leaders like Microsoft.
